When we moved into our new house the mail lady stopped in to tell us she wouldn't deliver our mail until we put a mailbox out on the street. In Provo most people have mailboxes on their houses, which I totally love. Now they have passed new laws that require new home owners to put a box out on the street. I was disappointed, mostly because I have really great memories of interacting with the mailman as a kid, but understand the reasons.
Because we were moving and had a newborn, it took us almost 8 weeks to complete this project. I think we picked up our mail twice at the post office. It was so nice to finally be getting mail on a regular basis!
