In the past I have made pumpkin shaped pancakes but this was waaay easier and the kids loved it. Nothing like adding food coloring to oatmeal and a few chocolate chips to make it extra special.
This year when we were talking about Halloween costumes I thought Ainsley would be a great Wonder Woman. Then they all wanted to be super hero's. When I started looking for costumes I realized that finding modest super hero costumes (at least for wonder woman and shera) was pretty much impossible. So... I made them. Without a pattern. Not perfect but we were thrilled with the results. Marcus is always awesome with these insane projects. He was in charge of Shera's head gear.
And Dash. He was perfect. I didn't make this one (other than fixing a new strap on his eye piece because it would not fit his awesome head, not even close). Will's new nickname is Dashy.
Side note: Will loves the Incredibles. Loves them. After several times watching the movie - 3 weeks of sickness will do it - he climbed up on my lap and punched me in the face. Whaaat?! He was shocked at my anger and smiled and said, "Dash hit the guy and it was so funny mom!" I reviewed with him the difference between a bad guy and your mommy. He hasn't done it since.
