A Visit with Claudine

We finally took the time to visit Ainsley's namesake at a care center a few cities over.  It was a wonderful visit.  I hope that Ainsley is old enough to remember these visits.  I hope she will treasure her name and feel a desire to good by it.  

Claudine's memory is fading.  She loved Ainsley's curls and was thrilled to learn (again) that she is her namesake.  As I look at these pictures I am filled with good memories from this exemplar woman.  She is a strong, courageous, joyful, and extremely kind woman.  It was fun to listen to her stories.  She talked of her husband and of their courtship.  She talked of schooling and mentioned her parents.  

It was a wonderful Sunday evening.
