Utah trip - finale

After the reunion we stayed at Grandma and Grandpa Jackson's home and had a great time. On Monday Aunt Kim, Brandon and Mia came to play with us. The kids had a blast. It was especially fun because we never get to see Kim and her family. We had a cookie episode which left us all laughing except Brandon who threw up. To keep the theme of the trip, no pictures. Again, very sad.

Later in the week we took an adventure to the Bean museum at BYU. The kids were fascinated and the adults had a good time too. Marcus had never been and I hadn't been since a field trip in school some time (probably elementary).

Another highlight was a quick visit with Larkin and her husband Cody. We love visiting with them and hope to see them again soon now that they live much closer.

Too soon our fun had to come to an end. The only person that wanted to go home was Ainsley (she is a routine sort of gal). It has never been more difficult to start a long drive while dreading the end result.

This was a pleasant surprise along the way. It boosted the moral of the entire car. Marcus took about 20 pictures of this one beautiful rainbow.

We made the drive home in 2 days. Marcus and I both agreed as we pulled in to the Twin Cities that it still doesn't feel like home. We have met great people and there are plenty of good things here so hopefully that will change one day.
