We had a great time celebrating Marcus' birthday this year. It wasn't anything fancy (Marcus wanted to skip the celebrating because he felt so bad that my birthday was a moving day) but it was fun to celebrate something in the midst of all the transition.

We almost forget that we are near family. At the last minute we invited family over to celebrate and Becky and Scott were able to come for a Saturday afternoon BBQ. It was super casual and so much fun to get together. Marcus did a great job with the charcoal burgers and hot dogs. It was just a fun day in general.
**As a side note we almost had to cancel because of sickness but found out Will just sprained his back. In the end, we really did have a super yucky sickness. I will post this separately.
