Kindergarten Egg Drop

Reagan was finally feeling better just in time for her Kindergarten Egg drop.  Because she had been sick for so long, we didn't get a ton of planning time in.  I talked with her about it one morning and the wheels in her head started spinning with ideas.  She gathered supplies and then Marcus spent a long lunch break with her creating a "safe" package to drop.

It was so fun to watch them!

The best part was that the first package failed and the egg broke (they tested it together).  That is when the two of them really started thinking and working it out together.  I haven't seen her this involved in anything academic since we were in Minnesota.  It was a challenge.  She loved it.  He loved it.

She proudly dropped her un-tested package the next day and...

It survived!!!

I bet Marcus was loving it as well. That's right up his alley!

Also, I LOVED the cards that your kids sent. They were so sweet and thoughtful!
