Pinewood Derby explanation

So I have had a ton of questions about the pinewood derby car and demolition derby. I figure I should explain it for our posterity to understand also!

The demolition derby is two car tracks set up facting each other. The cars come down and crash into each other and then the winner is determined by 1 - who is upright and then 2 - who is closest to center. The tracks are simple wood tracks made by a guy that used to be in the ward. Nothing fancy but they sure get the job done. There are no rules for cars. Anything goes. It is a fun fun fun event and the highlight of the evening for sure.
