Whew! What a week. Marcus and I have been working hard to check off a few nagging items on our "to do" list. The girls quilts are in the process of being tied (finally) and our upcoming Darrington reunion is 99% planned. Most of the photos I want to hang in my home are in frames and awaiting a final destination on the wall. We are making great progress and Marcus and I are TIRED but happy.
A few pictures from the week:
"My Bless You" This is what Ainsley responded when I asked what happened to the kitchen cabinet. Nothing like a little chocolate cookie mixed with a sneeze!
Reagan's first soccer practice. She is very excited to be playing soccer and had a great time. I met TWO families with more kids than I have AND they are closer together in age AND the oldest is 4 1/2 just like Reagan AND... they enjoy their kids and being mothers. It was very refreshing in a week filled with reflection on what motherhood means to me.

That is right... Reagan learned how to ride her bike without training wheels. She has been asking for the last month to have us teach her and with all the rain and busy days, we hadn't found a good time. Finally earlier this week she insisted I take her training wheels off and then on Saturday, in the rain, Marcus took her out and said she caught on in the first five minutes. She was ready for this.
I must admit that I was bursting with pride and crying inside all at the same time. She is growing up so quickly. I wish I could slow the time down, just a little.
She has requested four walks on Monday. We will see if the rain can hold back long enough for this darling girl to get in some bike time.
