How can you tell Grandpa has been in town?
1- Unique and entertaining toys for the grand kids that no one else would consider
Plastic retractable toy and noise makers
Crazy magnets that they LOVE!!!

2- Daily updates on the space program and launches.
It was great to have a launch happen while Grandpa was here. We were busily getting ready for company to arrive for dinner and my Dad was looking up the launch on the Internet while cutting fruit so we could all watch the launch together. His excitement for space is catching.
3- Incredible changes in our house
like this ceiling fan
Doors, doors, and can I say doors? People that have visited know what I mean.

The first time our master bath has had a door EVER. Have I mentioned this has been our only bathroom for 4 months and our only shower for 6? We have privacy!

the new laundry shoot

This list doesn't include all the changes. I do have to say that Marcus helped a TON (like the laundry shoot was mostly Marcus with my Dad consulting). It always seems easier to do things when you have someone helping. The basement has also made great progress. The bathroom sheet rock is completed and most of the hallway.
There are also the little things we will notice as time goes on. Like the dresser in Reagan's room that was impossible to open and close, it suddenly moves much easier. The cupboard in the kitchen that got bent backward, magically closes now.
It was a fun trip and leaves us wishing we were closer. Reagan said to me today, "Mom, I would like to live in Utah so I can see Grandma and Grandpa all the time." I hear you Magoo, I hear you!

I'm so glad you posted pictures. I've been dieing to know what your dad did while he was there. Did you get the big mirror hung? Were you always planning on a laundry shoot? That is an awesome idea! Everything looks great!

Wow, your home is looking great! what a LOT of work.
I didn't know your parents were out again??? I remember meeting your mom when you first moved into the ward.
I didn't know your husband played the guitar. Joel asked for one a couple of years ago for his birthday. He's played with it off and on for the last couple of years, and finally this Christmas could play Silent Night, hee hee.
I love that you add so many pictures to your blog, but then, you probably would expect that from me :)
Just wanted to share a video clip with you that I posted on my blog the other day... http://mommysbreakroom.blogspot.com/2009/03/come-what-may-and-love-it.html
:) LOL, my word verification is "Moomors" that makes me giggle.
I don't have your email, so I'll leave this here. I came across this wonderful site yesterday, I just love looking at all the sellers and their stuff. http://www.etsy.com/ there are some really fun finds there. Thought I would share.
