Will's Funny for Today

Background:
Earlier this fall Will was picking up the 5 and 10 lb weights we have out for exercise and I warned him not to play with them or he would get hurt.  Within a minute he had dropped one of the weights on his foot.  He cried and cried.  He ended up dropping the weight on his big toenail and we could tell he would lose the whole nail. 

(Side note funny story... The toenail took only a couple of days to start to fall off.  One night he came into our bed - not terribly uncommon at the time- but we had the baby with us already so Marcus stuck him on the outside of us instead of in the middle of us.  He ended up falling off the bed and when we pick him up he was screaming.  As he calmed down we could understand something about his toe.  Somehow he had hit his toe falling off the bed and it ripped the toenail the rest of the way off.  We were laughing even in the middle of the night.  What are the chances?  Poor kid.)

Earlier this week when I was cutting his toenails I realized he had a completely new nail and you couldn't tell anything had happened.  I commented on how fast this had happened. 

Okay, so tonight:

Will is playing with the weights again.  I remind him that the weights are heavy and the can make our toenails fall off if we drop them.  Will quickly replies, "Oh that's okay Mom, I just get new ones."
