Hogal Zoo

I really wanted to take the kids to Hogal Zoo during the summer and knew that it had to happen before the baby so a couple of weeks (barely) before my due date we took the adventure. 

One of my good friends, Becca,  has an annual pass and gets buddy passes so we took advantage of spending the day with good friends and for a great price!  It was so nice to spend the day with my friend and have the kids be completely happy.  I am not going to lie, I was exhausted by the end.  Several strangers made comments about me being at the zoo so close to my due date. 

In the end I am so glad we went.  I hadn't been to this zoo since elementary school.  They had a new polar bear exhibit and the bear was super interactive.  There was this underwater area and a ton of kids/adults standing by it and the bear would repeatedly come right up.  At first it was scary but soon the kids were loving it.  They were also able to ride the carousel, which they love.  The little train ride at the end was the perfect way to end our day.
