Will's 3rd Birthday

This summer we celebrated Will's 3rd Birthday.  He really wanted a birthday party but we didn't have little friends for him (like none) so we had a family party and invited cousins.  About half of our boxes were still packed while we looked for a house so instead of our traditional birthday decor we decided to go all out cars (his favorite) and had a blast.

Marcus and I made an awesome Cars crown.  Will loved it!
 Thrilled about his new umbrella
His orange tie!
Train tracks that were much needed.

You have to love the massive belly.  This was exactly 14 days before Paige was born.

Normally I try really hard to make special meals and a really cool cake for my kids.  They love it and so do I.  We work together to create and frost and it is just a fun time.  This time around I just couldn't do it.  We had an easy BBQ and bought a cake.  By the time I decided to buy the cake it was late in the game and the only place that could make a Cars cake was a Latino market.  It ended up being a tres leches cake (seriously loaded with milk).  Even though the kids are allergic to milk, we just let them at it and hoped for no sickness.

We were so glad that Uncle Scott, Aunt Becky and family and Grandma and Grandpa Jackson and Aunt Lindsey could join us to celebrate this special birthday boy!

We love you Will!
