You have to love Ainsley's choice of headband!
We were so happy to see this day come. School in Utah was a huge adjustment for us. Probably one of the most difficult parts of moving. Reagan was waaay ahead of her class and bored out of her mind. On top of that there were a ton of behavior issues and very little parent involvement in the classroom. Reagan went from a little girl that LOVED school to a little girl that didn't want to go anymore.
She is a strong little thing and endured to the end and we were very proud of her. She completed the mountains of busy work (seriously mountains) and did her best to get along with kids that were generally just mean. One huge benefit of our experience was being able to recognize what factors were important to us in a school and we are all excited for her new school next year. She will also be starting a dual imersion language program learning Mandarin Chinese. We are all excited for this new challenge and opportunity for her. Great Job Reagan!

Brittany!! Which school is Reagan going to? The school I worked at in Orem did Chinese immersion, but I know there is one in Provo that does too :) Email me -- larkinkatie -- at -- gmail.com. Can't wait for your next little darling to come!!
So. How did you raise such an awesome gal? I need your advice on how you taught her to be kind to mean kids (I worry heavily about mean kids). I'm sorry she's had such an unpleasant experience in the Utah schools, though... I hope next year is better for her and challenging in all the right ways.
