We were super excited to plan a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa Darrington in Richland, Washington. Because we have lived so far away and our one trip a year usually revolved around reunions, we had never taken a trip to visit Grandma and Grandpa's house. This was a high priority for us after moving west. Memorial Day weekend was the perfect opportunity.
It was such a great trip. Seriously, awesome. My kids loved hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa and it made such a difference to them to add a house to their minds. Will fell in love with the water dispenser in the fridge. Aunt Stephanie and Uncle Travis and Aunt Kim and Uncle Dave were able to hang out also.

Grandma did a trial painting class to prepare for Grandkid camp in a few weeks. It was a hit.
And we just had a great time with family.
We are so glad to be closer so we can visit. These trips are priceless for us.
