We had a fun time during Art City Days this year. The kids and I went to a Children's Art Festival where they were able to do lots of different crafts. One funny thing was the realization that we are in Utah and there are waaaay more kids/babies. Every tree had at least one mother nursing a baby underneath and several had more than one.
We tried to attend a hot air balloon launch but it was too windy so instead we just watched the balloons on the ground. It was still fun. We also watched the parade. It made me miss our little Shoreview parade for a few minutes but was still fun and had a great small-town feel.
I decided to paint the kids' faces myself while we waited for the parade to start. I just used paint that I had on hand. Great idea until Reagan had an allergic reaction. Poor thing. Next time I will buy some face paints. It was a fun way to pass the time.
