Thanksgiving/Reagan's Birthday 2011

This year Reagan's birthday fell on Thanksgiving Day.  It complicates matters just a bit but we managed.  This year we were super excited to have Uncle Levi and Aunt Christy come from Indiana to spend the holiday with us.

I love the look on sweet Amelia's face.  She was such a cute girl and really started walking around during the visit.

Reagan with her birthday crown at breakfast.  Aunt Christy was the master behind the crown.  I was very thankful for her help.

For Breakfast we had pumpkin pancakes.

This year something I noticed was the reading.  Reagan reads very well and so every card and note was thoroughly covered.  It is fun to see them grow and discover new things.
This is not the best picture but my only other option was one that was blurry beyond recognition.  Will and Marlie were little pals the entire trip.  It was so fun.  I thought they would fight the entire time being so close in age but not the case.  Will loves jumping on these chairs and Marlie found it quite the entertainment also.  Will would prepare both chairs (taking the cushions off) and then call Marlie to come get on her chair and they would jump to their hearts content.

This is one of those stories that is funnier now than it was then and I had to document it.  Thanksgiving morning Marcus left for the ward Turkey Bowl.  He took our new (like less than a week old) camera with him to get a picture of the group.  One of the guys brought both of his young boys to sit on the side by themselves (seriously?).  All the guys left their phones, keys, and in our case.. camera on the bench.  When Marcus got home he reported that he thought the kids played with our camera because it was dropped and had scratches (WHAT!?).  Later in the day we found the pictures on the camera.
This is one kid playing with Marcus' phone while the other took the picture with our camera.  AWESOME.  Now it is funny to me and I can laugh but I was not laughing that day.

The group minus at least one.  John and Anne Sutherland, Justin Dittmer, Joe Young (father), Marcus, Nels Berge, Nathan Lund, and Darin Dennis
