Reagans Birthday Party

A Party, A Party And Reagan wants YOU there!
It’s a Cat in the Hat event, Just so you are aware.

Green Eggs and Ham You will not find,
But fun and games I think you won’t mind

So come November 20th For a real treat
Ten to Noon at 0000 Birchwood Street

Leave your whoositz and woositz outside the front door
And come inside for a party that sure not to bore!

This was the party invitation we sent out for Reagan's Cat in the Hat party. I started making something up but it was pathetic. Luckily, Marcus is a tad more creative and came up with the wording.

I made a hat (out of felt) and bowtie for each of the guests. We played a cup stacking game which the kids LOVED. They played for at least 20 minutes and could have kept going. We did two people at a time and then each person had a "cheer person" to cheer them on. We also played bean toss, Cat in the Hat says, and a run, freeze game to get out some energy. We made crazy cupcakes and thanked our guests by sending them home with a real goldfish. I have to say.. it was fun!

A sidenote: We had Reagan's party the Saturday before her birthday to avoid all the Thanksgiving out-of-town mess with friends. It really confused her. She thought she was five but knew it wasn't her birthday yet. People would ask her if she was five and she would just look at me. Kind of funny.
