Or more commonly Will Magill or Giggamilly.
This kid is so darn adorable. He wins hearts wherever he goes. His eyes are still huge but his head is too, so now they are just big beautiful eyes. I get comments on how beautiful his eyes are consistently.
At 16 months this little guy is super affectionate. He regularly puts both hands on my cheeks and gives me big kisses. This very act caused the entire lobby at Ainsley's dance class to ooh and ahh. It really is super sweet. He loves to wave goodbye and gets very excited when anyone comes home. He is the only one of my kids that enjoys books at a younger age (at least more than tearing through them). He is pretty tall and stocky. He is so heavy! I will get his stats next week but he is almost fully into 24 month clothing and size 6 1/2 shoe. He also requires less sleep just like Reagan. He is up at 6 (unless it is daylight savings and then it is 5) with Daddy.
As I stated earlier, he has all of his molars now. At least most parts of them. He munched on sugar snap peas today and I was super grateful to be moving past the "no teeth" stage. Just this past week I ran out of his liquid gold formula (Nutramigen) and completely switched him to rice milk. He has been more sensitive to milk than my girls so I weaned him to full formula instead of milk at 12 months. I had been supplementing him with formula for a couple of months.
Although this kid is super sweet, he is also into, and more appropriately onto, everything! Today he managed to climb on top of the kitchen counters. Earlier this week I caught Ainsley trying to teach him how to climb from the toilet to the bathroom counter. The table top is old news. This week he also learned that he can move chairs around to help him reach his destination. If I could insert sound, there would be crying here. Because he is Will, of course the interest has been the stove top. The knobs are very intriguing to him. Again, more crying. Pretty much my motto is, Will cannot be left alone.
Will also has the gift of throwing. I am pretty sure it is a boy thing. At least that is what I tell myself. He throws everything! If he tries to throw something and it is a poor attempt, he will retrieve the item and do it again until it is a worthy attempt. Besides balls, his favorite items to throw are books, sippys, and toys. All of us are getting good at ducking and I have started putting up shields to block him. It will be a happy day when he grasps the "only throw soft items in the house" concept.
Last but not least, Will is a pro jumper. The kids brought home a mini trampoline from Grandma on our trip to Utah and Will goes crazy on that thing. He keeps up with Ainsley on the trampoline. He can easily jump off the ground by himself. When he wants something, he starts jumping. He is just a jumper.
He is still the family favorite and he eats it up. We sure love our giggamilly!
