I can't believe it has almost been two months since my last post. Our computer is pretty much toast. It has a new name, Sparky, because of the wonderful sparks the cord shoots out when moved the wrong way. Add the sparking cord to the broken screen, failed battery, and random shut downs and you have our current computer situation. Not ideal for blogging or anything else for that matter. We are in the market for a new computer but I am determined to take advantage of the Christmas sales that are sure to be out there in the next few weeks:).
Even with a bum computer, I am hoping to get caught up one post at a time!
For a quick recap of October...
*The girls had another "bring a friend" week at dance. Ainsley's friend was sick so she took Reagan (which Reagan LOVED) and Reagan took her friend Destany. This is such a fun thing for them to do every year. They really look forward to having their friends in their dance classes.
*Reagan started a preschool co-op with three other kids/moms from another ward in our stake. It is very low-key, almost like a play group. I would love to have it be more "preschool" but am happy to have something. The bonus is it is with one of Reagan's most favorite friends, Keating. He is a great friend and they get along so well. The down side is she is the only girl and she wishes another girl was in the group.
*We went on a preschool field trip to Como Zoo. It was the best day I have ever had at the zoo. Pretty much amazing weather, no crowds, and animals that were cooperating. Awesome day!
*My neighborhood Bible study group started up again. I love this group. I love getting to know my neighbors. I love learning about others beliefs. I love that it is 30 seconds from my home and a great, uplifting escape for a couple of hours.
*Reagan had her second Primary Program. She was, of course, the best! I am a little biased, I know. Seriously, she is so great but I will update about her on another post.
*Uncle Levi visited! We were thrilled to have him here for a couple of days while he attended a school alumni event. The kids soaked up every Uncle Levi moment they could. This visit I saw many similarities between Levi and my Dad, especially where it comes to children. This just means he is an awesome Dad!
*Ainsley turned 3! This was a much anticipated event for our little Ainsley. She had her first birthday party (a Halloween theme) and soaked up every birthday moment she could. The next morning she woke up and asked, "Mom, am I still three?" She is a doll, but again, more on that in another post.
*I had a small cyst removed off of my hand. Pretty uneventful other than the stitches that I left the office with AND instructions to keep my hand dry for 48 hours. Also, don't make a fist or pick anything up. Really??? I just laughed. Three small children at home means impossible. Luckily, Marcus was there to help (he is amazing!) and the kids and I worked out the rest.
*Trick-or-treating at a rest home. The girls had a great time handing out coloring book pages they had completed and trading for some candy!
*Reagan falling off the top bunk and really smacking her head. Our first big head bump. I do have to note that she fell off while making her bed, not while sleeping.
*Ward leaf raking service project. Such a great time serving others! The best part was the end when everyone got together and raked a strangers home in 15 minutes. The lady was a single mom and was very touched by the service. She is now investigating the church. Amazing what a group can do.
*Ward Halloween Party/Trunk-or-treat
*Handing out candy as a family instead of the normal trick-or-treating because Halloween was on a Sunday.
*Last but not least, Will getting all four molars:). Still the cutest kid ever though!

We're doing a co-op preschool for Rachel as well. I got the curriculum from www.mothergoosetime.com - it is a great website that sends you everything: worksheets, art projects, music cds, etc. Best thing it cost us about $70 per person for 6 months worth of curriculum. We plan on using the curriculum for 9 months. I know you didn't ask, but I love the program!!
Great update. I hope your hand is all better - that sounds like it really stunk.
