Those that know me know I love summer time, parades, and parties. My favorite holiday is the 4th of July which pretty much combines all of these. It is pretty fitting that my first outing (and Will's) was to the Slice of Shoreview.
First we hit the parade. We ended up sitting about 100 ft from the start and it was a blast! They threw a ton of candy and the kids loved gathering it up. Marcus was sneaking candy out of the bag and Ainsley quickly caught on to his tactics.
Afterwards, we went to the carnival where the kids did two rides before the rain forced us to leave. It was also nap time so it worked out perfectly.

We received Marcus' message yesterday evening (I guess he needed some info on Gracie's situation for a lesson). So sorry we didn't get it in time. Hope it went well. We're confident - from hearing him teach before - that it did.
