I haven't posted anything in awhile mostly because we are at the very end of this pregnancy (thank heavens!) and I have been a bit grumpy. Marcus was commenting the other day that my mind is full of energy but my body just isn't cooperating. He said it perfectly.
I have 6-8 lists posted on my kitchen cabinet of things to do before the baby arrives. We are down to 2 1/2 weeks and some days I can barely walk. Needless to say, prioritizing has reached a new level for us. Reagan is praying for the baby to get out so mommy can feel good and play again. Personally, I have mixed feelings. Although I am more than ready for people to stop asking if I am having twins, or for strangers to stop staring at my swollen feet, I realize that having a newborn is it's own form of chaos and many adjustments are ahead.
This time around we are using midwifes and that combined with being in a new state (with different rules/regulations/opinions) has made this pregnancy/delivery another completely new experience. Just for the record... I would give anything to have my first doctor that delivered Reagan again... seriously anything. At my 37 week apt I measured 40 weeks so they will do an ultrasound next week to get an idea of the size of the baby and then we will most likely schedule an induction for 39-40 weeks. This is with A LOT of pushing from me. At least they are somewhat listening.
Things that keep me going:
- Ainsley saying a boisterous "HI" to everyone she sees.
- Reagan asking Marcus, "Daddy, what are you smokin?" during lunch today. Amazing how they catch on to things;) Whenever Marcus says something crazy, that is my response to him.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. Those last few week of pregnancy are miserable. The weeks feel like months and days feel like weeks. Can't wait to see pictures of the new baby boy!
Oh, hon - I can SO relate. Only now my body isn't bouncing back as fast as my mind would like it to. That said, ANYTHING beats the last weeks of pregnancy!
We will keep checking your blog regularly! Can't wait to hear news of your babe! You'll LOVE having a son. Good luck!
