A quiet house

A quiet house can be nerve racking when you have little ones around that are awake. In my house it means Ainsley has discovered she is tall enough to reach the Vaseline bottle AND knows how to take off the lid or that Reagan is carefully writing out checks from my checkbook one by one, you get the point.

The other day I am doing the dishes and realize, the house is quiet. Off I go, in search of Reagan (Ainsley is taking a morning nap) and this is what I find.
Reagan has taken every item of clothing she can reach in her closet (off of hangers and off of the shelves) to make the following pile.
So she can have something to stand on that will make her tall enough to reach this dress which she LOVES and I wouldn't get down for her in the morning because I thought it deserved a break.
The pile didn't work very well but I figured the effort was valiant and therefore plucked the dress for her.

That shows great fortitude, good for you for helping her achieve her goal! I wish we were closer so I could come over and help with the new house. The other day Frankie said, "It's really sad that you are at your happiest when organizing or cleaning?" Who is that sad for exactly??? He reaps the rewards of my hard work! Keep working, it will be all yours when you are done and have a tremendous sense of accomplishment. Go Team!

Very inventive. That would make me laugh so hard. Sometimes you just have to shake your head.

She is a creative problem solver. Blame Marcus, that sounds like something he would have done.

smart girl, I really like her. I have constantly the feeling she's older than she really is.
