Our ward had a luau party in combination with the annual camp out and it was a hit! We didn't stay the night (sniff sniff - our second entire summer without camping) because we have SO MUCH to do on our house and only two Saturdays left before we move in. Those of you that know Marcus understand how desperate our situation is for him to give up camping.
Here are a few photos from the fun night.
The Pig. I love that they did a real pig roast!
Reagan trying to "blow out the candle". Needless to say the tiki torches where a tough height for these kids.
Playing with one of the huge balls (actually fighting over it with one of her best friends, Liam, but you can't see him in the picture very well so we'll just say playing:))
Playing chase with Anna. Reagan LOVES Anna and they actually get along really well and enjoy playing with each other. Anna is so good to Reagan.
Reagan was very excited to see all of the tents. As soon as she finished eating I watched her run over to one and unzip it. As I am yelling for her not to go into another ward members tent she jumps in. Seconds later I see her looking frustrated and coming out. Good. Suddenly she moves on to the next tent, unzip, I yell, she jumps only to emerge moments later frustrated again. She runs back to me and says, "Mom, where are the jumpy ones!" Have I mentioned we haven't been camping. Poor thing only knows the inflateable bouncy tents (at parties and fairs) and was disappointed.

that is funny. There was a tent though with just inflatable mattresses. Those would have been fun to jump on.
