We have had a couple of funny experiences with Reagan in the last week.
Last week I hear Reagan yelling at me from the bathroom. Usually this means the lovely task of wiping her cute little behind but when I got to the bathroom she was just leaning her head back, while she sat on the toilet, and shaking her head back and forth. She was very excited to announce that she could feel her hair on her back just like Mommy. It was too cute. The poor kid has struggled in the hair department from her first breath. The doctors first words when she was born were, "that is one bald baby." Last summer in California her hair just randomly started breaking off everywhere. I am still not sure what happened there but she was then known as "Tina" around our house for months. Her hair has finally calmed down and is actually growing now. Yeah!

A couple of nights ago I decided to try out a new chocolate chip cookie recipe that I saw on a friends blog (I am obsessed with finding good cookie recipes... the cookies have to look good AND taste good). I had just pulled the first pan out of the oven when I hear Reagan calling out from her bedroom. Don't worry that it was 9:30 at this point and she still wasn't asleep. Marcus went in to check on her and comes out chuckling. He informed me that she knew I was making muffins without her and she wanted one. She could smell them. Muffins are Reagan's favorite thing to make and to eat. She was totally bugged that I was cooking without her and making her favorite thing. I finally brought her out to show her that they were cookies and she could have one in the morning. Satisfied, she went back to bed. This brought back so many memories for me. I still clearly remember lying in my bed hearing my mom pop popcorn while us kids were trying to fall asleep.
Okay, just one more. Last night Reagan was "helping me with the dishes" while I made dinner and was having most fun with a pitcher in the sink. Pretty much filling it up and dumping it out. I just happened to be standing right next to her when she stepped to the side and right off the chair. She had just filled the pitcher full and as her body slid down it forced her arm to raise and dump the pitcher on top of her head. The entire thing! She was gasping for air and trying to figure out if she was hurt. We were dying of laughter. I wish I would have taken a picture. After it was all over and she was soaked she looked up at me and said, "but don't worry, I think my shoes are okay." She had been prancing around in these white things all day. What a girl!

wow! she looks so grown up! that hair was worth waiting for!
Great stories! I love the dishes story. I can just imagine Aubree doing the same thing. That's funny she was concerned about her shoes.
The girls are beautiful. I do remember David climbing up to the kitchen sink and taking the sprayer thing, turning on the water, coating the whole kitchen with an inch of water. . .right before someone was coming to look at the house. . .we were selling:) I, too, couldn't get mad but just laughed!!!
Cute stories! Thanks for sharing! Your girls are so beautiful!
so i love the fact that she was fine with going back to bed without eating a cookie--just as long as it wasn't a muffin. that's classic.
Those are some hilarious stories on Reagan. I love the cookie one.
