Our Christmas Eve was simple this year. We delivered our final 12 Days of Christmas gift and then dropped off a few other things. We read the scriptures and acted out the nativity scene. The kids had their own idea of how that should work out and that was okay. The pictures are blurry but brought back fun memories. Of course, the donkey was a big hit. This year it felt like the kids really understood why we celebrate Christmas.
After everyone had their fill of playing different parts we prepared the goodies plate for Santa and headed to bed. Marcus and I stayed up... but not too late. It was a great Christmas Eve.
