Thursday evening I couldn't find my car keys. This is not uncommon and I wasn't worried. The next day, after four adults searching for several hours, I was worried. We could not find the keys. Since we were leaving the next day we decided we needed to get a key made. A lock smith said we could get a key made without the dealer but the dealer said differently. After many conversations we decided to have the van towed to the dealership. Luckily we have the tow package on our insurance but the cost of the keys was about $300. Awesome. When I picked up the van the guy said that a mistake had been made an randomly, our vehicle did not need the super expensive key. I guess this was the first time he had seen this in five years (I love our van!) and he refused to charge us anything. I could not believe it. At the same time, so grateful. The entire experience was a huge pain in the fanny and time consuming but we were thrilled with the outcome.
Marcus enjoying a walk with all the little ladies, and Will. It was so cute I had to snap a picture.
Aunt Lindsey took a few pictures with our camera, unbeknownst to me, and this was one of my favorites.
Not the best picture but I think the only picture of our entire family on this trip. We had to make caramel popcorn for Grandpa before we left. It was also a much enjoyed car snack.
And that is Utah. We left late Saturday morning for Idaho Falls for another quick visit with Tammi and Frank.
