Great-grandma Jackson

Seeing my Grandma Jackson again was a highlight of our trip. It has been several years since we have seen her (Reagan was 18 months the last time we saw her). Much has happened in that time and I really really really wanted to be able to visit with her. I didn't know if it would work out as she lives in Wyoming but she totally suprised me by arranging a ride down to Utah.

I loved being able to talk with her and just visit. We don't always see eye to eye (I am still not going to potty train my barely-two-year-old until she is good and ready... I would rather change a diaper than take her to the bathroom 40 times a day for months) but she is a strong woman that I admire. She is always honest and straight with you and she is a surviver. When times get tough, I want her on my team. I love you Grandma!

**One funny thing is that the kids were so confused about what to call my Grandma. We have always called her Grandma Jackson but to them, that is my mom. It ended up being a description game (ie: the one with the white hair or something similar).

My kids had the same issue with my grandma. Now they call her "Grandma Kjar (care) with the white, white hair." It's quite catchy and endearing ;0)
