Christmas 2009

I don't have very many pictures of Christmas Day. The girls loved opening their stockings. Santa magically came through again. Ainsley received a beautiful new baby that she has fondly named "my new baby" not to be confused with "my old baby".

Reagan was somewhat confused that Santa didn't get her the computer she requested until we pointed out that her note also stated a cash register. Then she was thrilled. Kind of funny.

It was a great day. Marcus got a suit bag for traveling that he really wanted and also some large print materials. I loved the new items for my kitchen ie: pitcher, bamboo spoons, serving dish etc (except for the "make the eggs round" things - but that is a story for another time:)) My parents gave us a wheat grinder which I am very excited about. Hopefully our gifts were appreciated as much as the ones we received.

The best gift of all was being with those we love. Last year we were SO DESPERATE for family or friends or just people to hang out with. This year was exactly opposite of that and we are very grateful we were able to make the trip home.
