I was having a super weird/cranky day on Saturday and sometimes that equals me making some... horrible/crazy/dumb decisions. This day was not any different. Reagan's hair has needed to be cut for awhile but I have been dragging my feet. She really wants long hair and I would love for her to have long hair. After a summer of swimming and playing her hair desperately needed to be cut and so Saturday I decided the time had come and I was going to cut it myself.
Needless to say, an hour later I was frantically trying to get ahold of a girl in my ward that actually KNOWS how to cut hair. I was panicked about the job I had done and knew we needed a fix-it hair cut. Unfortunately, I couldn't get ahold of the girl and we were going to have to deal with the job I had done until Monday. The last thing I wanted was f'or Reagan to get weird looks on a hair cut that her mom insisted she have and then was crazy enough to do herself. I wanted her to feel cute and beautiful.
Luckily, Sunday was a new day. I put Reagan in the bath tub to play with toys and fixed it myself. I must say... we LOVE her haircut and I will be attempting it again in the future. This also reminded me of how much I would love to get training in cosmetology and be able to cut people's hair.

Looooove it! It looks so good and healthy. I wish they would night classes (16 week program) for hair cutting or something like that. I would so do it. Funny that you have a fix-it person when you are my fix-it person. lol

I have been wanting to get my girl's hairs cut for the last couple of months too, but have been too scared to take the plunge, but they are looking kind of scraggly. Want to practice on my girls? ;)
