Labor Day weekend was supposed to be filled with a trip to Denver, CO for my cousin Misty's sealing in the temple where my parents and brother AND sister would all be. After an expensive car repair, Marcus' work getting crazy unexpectedly, and a few other things occurring, we made the difficult decision to cancel our plans. The whole family was sad. Reagan had been counting down days for our trip and truthfully, so had I.
We decided that although we couldn't make it to Denver, we could take a family overnighter. Chipawa Falls Wisconsin ended up being our destination only because they offered a hotel with a water slide the kids would be able to go down themselves and they were less than 2 hours away. It was the perfect get-a-way and turned sad faces into very excited ones.

Happy Faces

Crazy family

The water slide at our hotel was perfect! It was big enough for adult fun and small enough for Reagan to do by herself. There were some older kids playing also and she would copy whatever they did.

Ainsley loving the slide with Daddy's help. She did insist to go down by herself also and ended up flying out the end backwards and upside down. Two guys at the bottom caught her mid-air. I wish I had caught it on camera.

On Wisconsin!
You guys have been busy! I'm glad you found somewhere else fun to go for the weekend even if family wasn't there.
Looks SO fun. One of our funnest trips was to the Dells. You gotta love the water slides! So fun to see your blog. :)
