Belated Birthday Celebrations

We decided to celebrate Aunt Lindsey's birthday while she was here and this was the requested cake. It was a white cake with an amazing cream cheese frosting. I think this was the first time I actually liked the frosting more than the cake (usually I am a scrape the frosting off kind of person). We were getting ready to sing when we realized that there were no candles to light. When we celebrated Marcus' birthday the girls broke every candle we had into pieces and I had not replaced them. I decided to light a tissue wrapped around a pencil but Marcus was having a fit about this.

The birthday girl wearing her crown that she helped Reagan make.

Just as we were ready to start Marcus comes in with a bag of matches he found. Instead of the tissue candle, Lindsey was able to blow out matches and my normally "invincible" husband was able to remain calm and responsible.

Happy Birthday Aunt Lindsey!!!!
