Minnesota Zoo

The weather in Minnesota has been unusually warm.  It has been wonderful!  The last week we have been enjoying 80 degree weather.  I decided it was the perfect opportunity to take the kids to the zoo.  Reagan was willing to miss a day of school, although she did debate back and forth (and I was completely willing to pull her out for the day).  We checked out the zoo pass from the library and were on our way. 

Highlights from our day were spending time together, seeing the dolphins, petting the sharks/sting rays/starfish, watching the penguins, and counting baby monkeys.  There is a little farm area that they had fun playing in also.  It was nice to have beautiful weather and not very many people.  I was amazed that we lasted until 3pm but that is when we finally pulled out.  We were all exhausted.  At least bedtime was easy. 

*And yes, I did have Will wear our airport leash for the trip.  Luckily, we didn't have to use it much.
