I love Conference. Really, really love it. My parents were very consistent about watching conference and family traditions were created. It is a time that I always miss my family. Marcus and I hope to do the same for our kids. Reagan was super excited this time for conference. She is starting to remember that we do special things during conference weekend. Ainsley was excited because Reagan was excited. I hope they always feel that way.
Usually it is fun to hear the new temple announcements but I have never had a personal connection with any of them. This time was very different. The Provo Tabernacle had a horrible fire this past year and was just about completely destroyed. This building has been a part of my life. I grew up attending Stake Conference in that building. As kids, we loved the spiral staircases and sitting in the balcony (if we could convince our parents). Hearing President Monson announce that they will rebuild it and it will be a temple was amazing. I had goose bumps. Then hearing them announce a temple in Star Valley, WY was just too much. It was incredible. My dad grew up in Star Valley and we still have many relatives there as well as my grandmother. It was an incredible experience to here those two temples announced.
I am so excited.

that was intense, we had to rewind. they HAVE to put in a spiral stair case. I loved the bathrooms. You had to walk the entire way for all to see where you were going.
I thought of you when I heard them announce Star Valley. I knew you would be thrilled.
