It has been such a great weekend! Friday night we were able to go to a Twins Game and it was AWESOME! We took the entire family and were scared. It could have been disastrous. Will decided to only take a 1 hour nap that day and the game was scheduled from 6pm-9pm. The weather forecast was thunderstorms. All ingredients for a really hard evening at the ball park. Marcus and I want to do these kinds of things as a family so we forged ahead. Again, what a fun evening.
As much as we tried, we didn't make it on time. We were close but not on time. The only benefit to being late was missing traffic. We only had to take two potty breaks (one of our worries because we were in the middle of the row) which wasn't bad. Reagan and Marcus missed the 7th inning stretch, which I was a little sad about. That is part of the fun of a ballgame! We were surprised at how much the girls enjoyed the game, how amazing (and I mean amazing) the weather was, and at how well Will handled the game. In the 9th inning when neither team has scored we were getting nervous that we wouldn't be able to stay for the end but the kids did great and in the bottom of the tenth, the Twins scored! We were all cheering and enjoying the celebration.
It was a blast! Reagan asked when we can go again. I do have to admit that we had really nice seats which helped the enjoyment factor. Marcus was given the tickets for a job well done at work. Yeah Marcus!... and thanks Boston Scientific! We had a great night.
