4 years ago Marcus and I had finished a lovely dinner at Olive Garden with my parents and were in the middle of a game of Settler's of Catan with my brother when my water broke. It was the day before Thanksgiving. Needless to say we spent Thanksgiving in the hospital that year but it was worth it! The first 6 months with our little Reagan were rather rocky with a very sad baby but the rest has been amazing... better than I could imagine. What a great spirit we have been given. She is our little wonder girl.
Reagan turned four this year and she is such a great kid. We are constantly amazed at how smart she is. She learned how to tie her shoes last January surprising, well everyone, but especially the 5 year old neighbor girls still struggling to figure it out. This last month she has mastered snapping. She can snap with both hands.
Reagan is very determined and will keep working at something until she has mastered it. This includes doing everything for herself. Most of her friends are the youngest in their family and rely on their parents to help them a lot. Reagan is the youngest of the group but can take care of herself better than most of them. She is a huge help to me and to her younger sister and brother. She loves to cook/bake (she has just mastered cracking the eggs), play dress-ups, and draw and write notes to people. I will often come home to a note at the top of the stairs telling me she missed me.
We are so glad she is in our family and hope she had a wonderful birthday!
Stats:
41 inches tall
40 lbs
75% all around
Birthday breakfast chosen: Pumpkin pancakes
Birthday dinner chosen: Ham fried rice (much to Daddy's dismay)
I just love how much these girls adore each other!
Reagan'sfriend Sofia and her brother. Reags was so excited to have her join us for cake and Rice Dream:)

this could have been easily her 5th birthday. William just learned how to snap and does bother to tie his shoes. I love it that your water broke during Settlers. Were you winning?
