We LOVE Vaseline at our house. About a year ago it pretty much replaced all kid/baby lotion in our house (thanks Kathleen!) and it works perfectly to protect chapped noses when our kids have colds (plus it is tons cheaper).
Ainsley loves the Vaseline too and is always trying to get in to it and "help" apply. We have done a great job at keeping her and the Vaseline separate... until now. When Uncle Levi and Aunt Chris were visiting I stuck the Vaseline behind my back and then we started chatting. Ains came and sat by me and just played quietly. It took me probably 5 minutes to realize that she had gotten into the NEW Vaseline jar (super size of course) and successfully covered herself AND me with the greasy stuff. She used 3/4 of the container and it was EVERYWHERE (except the carpet yahoo!). Her poor hair!

Ainsley getting her corn starch treatment
While my brother googled info on how to clean Vaseline out of hair, I quickly changed clothes and stuck her in the bathtub. Apparently, there isn't much you can do. We did put corn starch in her hair to try and soak up some of the mess but it only helped so much. The poor kid looked greasy for a full week. We did the cornstarch deal probably 4 nights. I still haven't figured out how to get the clothes clean. If anyone has ideas, I would love them.

Remember that you can only see vaseline in pictures if it is REALLY thick!
Oh the things they do.
