Seriously I LOVE Halloween and the fall. It is pretty awesome that we live in an area that offers incredible falls and has the Halloween capital of the world. Who knew!? Apparently Anoka, Minnesota loves Halloween just as much as I do and maybe, just maybe a little bit more.
Every year they have a full week of Halloween festivities and activities including the Gray Ghost Run and Grand Parade that we attended today. In case anyone was wondering my second favorite holiday is the 4th of July (I love parades) so I was pretty much jumping with excitement to learn that there was a Halloween parade.
Here are the girls ready for the days adventure in their new carseats. Reagan has graduated mostly because Ainsley has graduated. The faces say it all.

So the run is a 5k and has a costume contest. There were some fabulous costumes and I didn't think to grab my camera soon enough. Here are a couple of the entries. This is a wrestling match.
Here is a carosel. These are the only two run pictures I took but we saw awesome costumes. There was a great costume of Deal or No Deal. A guy was running with all these girls around him and they all had their silver suitcases with numbers. It was awesome.
Daddy and Ainsley waiting for the parade to begin
Reagan and Mommy.
The parade was pretty much a parade in costume. This is a space float.
The lions cage
A huge shopping cart. I thought this was a cool float
Reags enjoying a parade goody. The parades here are still small enough that they throw a bunch of candy.
Ainsley enjoying a sucker. REALLY ENJOYING IT
Sharing with Daddy so he can enjoy it too.
And now it is Reagan's turn to enjoy the sucker. Ainsley is sure a crack up these days.
All in all it was a fun day and a great way to start off our Halloween festivities. My husband put the icing on the cake after we arrived home when he installed my new oven. I tell you a great day!
