It is amazing how fast a year can pass. Last year this time Ainsley was welcomed into our family and she fit just perfectly.
I usually refrain from posting adorable pictures like this one (ha) but figure it is our family journal right? You can tell in this picture that hospitals don't plan on having 10lb babies very often. Her poor hat was way too small and refused to stay on.
Just a few minutes old

Reagan and Ainsley meet. Seriously love at first sight! The only time Reagan was upset was when the nurse would take Ainsley for a few minutes during shift change.

Our Sleeping Beauty. As I have been looking back I can definitely see more of my dad in her.

Ainsley bringing joy to all those around her:)

Now a family of four (Thanksgiving Day 2007)

The powerful "rock on" suck. Oh how we LOVE those fingers!

First snow...

First spring

One of her favorite daily activities is the bathtub.
Wow how time has flown!
Some details:
- you can walk when you want but mostly choose to crawl and CLIMB!
- you love to fold your arms for prayers
- Daddy's Girl is an understatement.
- You give amazing cuddles and kisses.
- You love your jacket and shoes. You ask for your jacket to be on all day long.
- Words that you say: Daddy, Grandpa, Momom, sh (for shoe), ah oh, go go go (from the book BABY SHOES).
- You can imitate our noises extremely well (it is actually frightening).
- You can blow your nose!!! You even pretend to do this on your own.
- Stairs are a breeze for you (up and down)
- You are the queen of tantrums when things don't go your way. You throw yourself on the floor and then wait for us to watch.
- Reagan hung the moon as far as you are concerned.
- You have the longest fingers and are constantly shutting cupboards on them.
We sure love you and are so glad you are in our family!

What a cutie. I feel like I know her a little better now.
The long fingers and a Darrington thing. Scott has them and so does Sydney.
I'm so jealous that Larkin gets to see these cutie patuties!
