As Usual...

I am so far behind.  One of my goals is to get on top of my posts once again.  So much is happening.  Life is flying by and I don't want to miss one second.  The kids are growing, growing, growing.  Ainsley lost her first tooth.  Paige started walking... and talking, well sort of.

Tonight Marcus and I went to the temple together.  We have set up a temple trade this past year and it has been awesome.  The kids love it (all except Paige) and we love it also.  Tonight was one of those nights where odd things kept happening during our time in the temple (normally a very reverent and peaceful place) and at one point, I felt like I was in college again.  I could picture my roommates in the temple grinning with me at all the odd things that kept occurring.  It was nothing major, and probably was partly from my mood.  After a few clothing malfunctions (on my part) and then watching my husband desperately looking for something on the floor (his wedding ring) it was all I could do to keep from laughing out loud.

Regardless, I exited the temple all smiles and let out all the laughter I had been holding in.  It was a good night.

I wanted to mention a few things about Paige.  It constantly amazes me at how unique each of my children are.  Paige is no different.  She doesn't use many words and yet we all understand her and her wants very clearly.  She is our first child to pull hair.  She will thread her fingers through the hair so it is hard to untangle from her hand.  Such a stinker!

She whines.  Oh does she whine.  She taps us on our bodies and then takes us to where she wants us and if we don't oblige, we hear about it.  She hits.  She feeds herself with very little mess (Seriously?!).  She can use utensils.  She teases non stop.  She will offer kisses and at the last minute turn away with a smile.  She is ticklish on her back and where her elbow hits her body.

Her hair is wild and has a full mullet.  She loves to courtesy laugh.  She growls.  She doesn't cry while being baby sat but the minute we return she lets it all out.  She hates it when their is fighting and will walk up and hit (or pull hair) of the person that is upset.  She loves her button (still an outy) and sucks her thumb.  She is waking up less and less at night, (hallelujah - can you hear the singing?).

She has the most darling wave and loves to be chased around the house.  She love the feeling of falling and has all of her siblings wrapped around her finger.  She can get them to be accomplices in just about whatever she desires.  She loves the early mornings and her beloved dog, Maddie.  She says dog and tries to say Maddie, much to the dismay of Reagan who would like me to teach her how to say sibling names before pet names (almost laughable to think I could control Paige at all).

She is growing so quickly.  She is small like Reagan was but has started to get taller following Ainsley and Will.  It has been fun to watch her tiny little body and remember Reagan.  Even though I am pretty sure she is the biggest stinker yet, we love this little girl with our whole souls.
