BYU Duck Pond Outing

One of the greatest advantages of living in Utah has been BYU.  It has been wonderful to attend some of the cultural events, and dance performances.  It is awesome that these events are family friendly (mostly meaning that they are clean and wholesome) and not on Sunday.

Recently we were able to visit the campus "duck pond" and hang out in the little river nearby.  We saw tons of baby ducks and the kids had a blast running around and watching the ducks react to them.  It was a fun afternoon.  Even better, we shared it with friends.  Alicia and her kids are awesome and are in my parents ward.  She has been so great to us and always seems to know when to call.  The peppermint oil that we used for the kids when they were sick was given to me by Alicia.  She is a great mom and a great example to me.

The afternoon ended with Ainsley falling in the river.  She was devastated.  She is such a sensitive little thing and felt so bad for getting her clothes wet.  Luckily, after stripping down in the car and wrapping up in a blanket she felt much better.
