WICKED

I can't believe I forgot to include this in our updates. Marcus totally suprised me with Wicked tickets for Mother's Day this past year. I have wanted to go see this musical since our first year at Purdue 4 1/2 years ago. We were so close to Chicago but timing was never right. Needless to say, I have been very excited.

Of course, two days before the show, Will got sick. And then he kept getting worse. I finally took him to the doctor and they said they couldn't find anything but they, "could sure tell he is miserable." The nurse said I should probably expect to see some sores in his mouth the following morning from how he was acting.

Marcus finally said we should probably try and sell our tickets. We were sad. Really sad.

However, the next morning Will was great (to my credit, the ped office did call to see how he was doing the next day). His fever was finally gone and he actually slept for a nap without being held. We decided we would attempt to go.

It was AWESOME. My migrane was not. The smoker sitting next to me was not. My baby who decided to give the baby sitter a run for her money was not. Even so, I would do it again. I LOVED IT. The music and talent was incredible. At one point near the end I almost thought I was going to "lose my lunch" from my headache but we still stayed. I guess that says it all.

Wow, I'm glad you enjoyed it with all of the negativity involved in getting and staying there. Wicked is one of my favorites. Watching it makes me wish I could sing and perform.
